Interns work closely with the analysts and other executives in evaluating commercial property and analyzing the impact and feasibility of different financing structures. Job responsibilities include: investment analysis, market research, lease/contract analysis, portfolio management, econometric modeling, and technical support.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, a strong GPA, and proven analytical ability are a must. The applicant must be able to think logically and independently and must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The applicant must work thoroughly, with great attention to detail. As most successful executives in this field possess a broad skill set, well-rounded applicants are desired. Our interns are often entering their junior or senior years in college. We welcome applicants from all different backgrounds and with little to no exposure to real estate. A background in finance or real estate is not required, but we look for applicants with a strong interest to learn.
